Trificient Technologies was founded by two partners who had originally participated in developing a software company offering private software to the transportation industry, specifically the large truck manufacturers and their suppliers.  The partners sold their interest in the company (which has recently been purchased by Hearst) and looked for potential markets that needed technological solutions to better their communities.

Trificient was founded in 2001 and began providing wireless internet services in smaller, more rural areas.  We built large telecommunication systems to service entire counties and most recently provided those services to the Cherokee Tribe.  We added services for all customers to encompass surveillance systems, hardware products, and downtown WiFi networks, including customer analytics and targeted marketing.  We have long-standing relationships with partners such as Dell, Axis, LiftMaster, Milestone, and Samsung.
